focus on NEW 'income generating activities'. Our 'income generating
activities are' consist of: talking to new prospects on a daily basis,
following up, enrolling them into our Coastal Vacations Business and
training our new associates.
We have also experienced that by directing our trainees to the library
first to look for the answers, we teach them to become
'System dependent versus People dependent'
and that is the key-ingredient in growing a successful home business.

Coastal Business Opportunity related questions
Question:
How much does this cost?
Answer:
"20 WAYS TO START SOMEONE WITH LITTLE TO NO
MONEY" ...
This is probably the single most frequently asked question we hear
in building our business.
It is very important (as in critical) that the price NOT be given
before the prospects has reviewed enough of the information to
begin to have an understanding of the enormity of our opportunity.
Here is what I say when asked this question. "I totally understand
that you are interested in the bottom line of what it costs to get
started in this fabulous, life changing, home business. And
to be completely honest, that really depends on whether you wish
to start at the top where you can earn commissions as high as
$3,200 for each new member.. like Eric from Kansas City who has
earned over $52,000 in his first 90 days - OR if you are willing
to start with the lower $1,000 commissions for each new member and
then use your profits to upgrade to the higher commissions as many
do."
"Also you'll first need to decide if you would be willing to start
building your business before you receive your personal
membership. We have many who take that route -- like Debbie
from Wyoming who has earned over $14,000 in her first four
months."
"And actually it really doesn't matter how much it costs if you
aren't interested does it? So let's do this. Let's get
you the information you need to thoroughly investigate this
business for yourself."
"And here is my promise to you. If after your very thorough
due diligence, you decide for yourself that this is the ONE
business that really gets you excited .. the ONE business that
makes total and complete sense, and the ONE business that you know
you could be successful with, then if you want, I will show you
how to get started with zero dollars out of your pocket.
Does that sound fair?"
OK, OK, what is this about ZERO dollars out of their
pocket?
When most people start a business, the smart ones do NOT use their
own money. If they did, they would be taking it from their
checking account, savings account, cookie jar, or out from under
their mattress.
But most people, when they buy something, use someone else's
money. That's what we do when we use our credit card, home
equity line of credit, or borrow the funds from a friend. It
should be no different with joining Coastal Vacations.
But there is one big difference ..and this is always a strong
motivation ... the costs involved in starting a business are TAX
DEDUCTIBLE!
So let's look at some of the ways that people can get started with
little of no money of their own. Most of this list has been
contributed by Lynn McCallister, a CSG Leader and Trainer.
1)
Sign-Up with your Credit Card. That is how many start but
if you don't have one, you'll have to apply for and receive the
card first! This is the best option because it gives you 30 days
to recoup your investment and you will immediately be able to
conduct your business, receive your travel & vacation package &
your sign-up bonuses.
2) We also offer private Monthly Payment Plans. They
are Interest free and there is no credit check needed!
These are monthly financing plans where you can begin to market
coastal immediately and receive all of the training & support we
have in place for you, while paying your start up cost in the
following monthly instalments:
1 month = $500 down
payment, next 3 monthly payments are $300, $300 and $200
2 months = $660/m
3 months = $440/m
4 months = $330/m
Of course you can pay the balance off at any time. Once you do, we
will arrange to ship you your travel & vacation package
immediately. Many people have started with this option and
were able to pay off their balances within their first month!
3)
Financing is available, however it is subject to a
'Credit Check.' The loan company is called AG Finance
and they give small personal loans to people for businesses or
home renovations. Several people have gone thru them for Coastal
and they have been approved for $1320 (level one travel package)
It's free to submit your application. Please visit their website
for detailed information:
http://www.agfinance.com/
AG Finance has many offices all over the US. Each
customer puts in their zip code and the nearest location is pulled
up. It takes a few minutes, online or over the phone, to complete
the application and the customer finds out within 24 hours if they
were approved for the $1320 loan. If so they will receive a
check in the mail within 2-3 days.
Payback varies from customer to customer because it's determined
by their credit score.
4) Obtain
a loan on your 401K. These loans are great if they're an
option for you because there are no turndowns or penalties. The
interest rate is 5%...and you're paying that interest to
yourself!
Here are a few more sources.
We suggest that you actually apply for all of them and if
you get approved for them all, just pick ONE to get your
financing from. It costs nothing
to apply for them.
You can reach all of them at 800-555-1212
5) American General
6) Citi Financial
7) Beneficial
8) Household Finance
And some
other ideas / strageties
13) Obtain a short term loan from a friend or family
member. Borrow $50 from 26 people. Borrow $100 from 13
People.
14) Obtain a home equity loan.
15) Increase an existing equity line.
16) Sell a car you don't use
17)
Have a Rummage Sale
18)
Sell off your old CD collection to the pawn shop
19) Find two or three people or businesses to buyin and
share the package together
20) Presell it before you
buy, and get 3 people with cash in hand to buy, using
leverage!
BUY COASTAL VACATIONS NOW
Question:
Why is Coastal Vacations not
listed in the BBB?
Answer:
Regarding the
BBB. People are concerned about stability. They need to understand
where the stability concern should be:
1) First with You - since they are buying the package
directly from you. You know best how to handle that. Treat your
business seriously. Treat your customers with respect, dignity and
professionalism. This will undoubtedly attract more good people to
you AND keep any negative comments away from your profile.
2) Coastal Coastal is NOT a company but an ASSOCIATION
of professionals all around the world who promote Travel, Affluence
& Well-Being. There is no head office, no corporate entity or legal
department. They have no real responsibility other than (Led by the
B.O.D.) making sure the package continues to get better and for
leading the marketing efforts of the field. The reason why we can
earn such high profits of $1000 & $3000 per sale is because there is
no company in place that requires high overhead. If this was the
case then our commissions (not profits) would be considerable lower
(as an entrepreneur looking at this business model--the fact that we
are an association IS A PLUS)
3) NB Management - Although they have been shipping
packages for 25 years they are still just a fulfillment center that
could easily be replaced by another. They ship packages for many
other travel & resort companies.
4) The Package - This is where your prospects main
concern should lay! Let them know that the stability rest with the
30 some companies who fulfill the contents of the package. Most are
licensed, bonded and even traded on the stock market. Using such a
large number of companies also allows for greater stability since if
one failed it could easily be replaced rather than depending on just
one company for everything. Have them understand that this package
has been selling for more than 2 decades. We (Coastal) have been
marketing the package for 9 years.. The longevity alone, speaks
volumes...
Mention names like Disney, Quest, ITC-50, Carnival, Ski Access,
Great American Traveler, Fairfield Marriott etc..
Let them research these companies online, they will no doubt find
they are solid.

For your convenience, here is a report from the BBB on what to look for
before you join any travel clubs or memberships clubs. Read this
carefully for your own due diligence.
Vacation and Travel
Vacation Certificates
Timeshare resorts, travel clubs, and other companies may notify you by
mail or telephone that "You have been selected for an island vacation
that includes free airfare and accommodations." Or maybe you filled out
an entry form for a vacation sweepstakes at a store, trade show or other
local event. Why are these offered and how do they work?
Businesses often provide vacation certificates with the goal of selling
a specific product or service. They print these certificates in large
quantities, believing that the attraction of a "free" vacation will draw
customers to their sales site. Making a purchase or attending a sales
presentation may be required to claim a vacation at a timeshare resort,
membership campground or other land sales promotion.
Vacation certificate offers vary. Some certificates include lodging in a
hotel or timeshare resort for a certain number of days and nights. Other
offers include airfare or a cruise, or provide one complimentary ticket
with the purchase of a second. Some certificates include discount
coupons for restaurants, tours or attractions in the resort area.
Companies using vacation certificates may require a non-refundable
processing and handling fee or a refundable deposit of $50 to $100 to
reserve a vacation offer. Vaca-tion certificates requiring a refundable
deposit often state that the deposit will be returned after a vacation
has been taken. Written confirmation should be sent when the deposit is
received.
What to Look For
Before committing to participate in any vacation promotion, it’s wise to
do the following:
Contact your Better Business Bureau for a reliability report on the
company providing the vacation certificate and any other company
involved in an offer that requires you to listen to a sales presentation
or purchase a product. Until you receive complete details in writing of
total cost, terms and conditions and restrictions, do not offer any
payment to the company.
Read the rules carefully. Do you meet the required conditions, such as
age and marital status?
Determine all costs involved in using a vacation certificate. It will be
your responsibility to pay for anything not specifically mentioned.
Do you pay for:
Hotel, timeshare resort or other lodging? Meals?
Transportation from your home to the resort? Do you have to travel to a
distant location before the company pays for "free" travel?
Transportation from the airport to the lodging accommodation?
Additional fees for the peak tourist season? When is the peak season?
Are there any port taxes when visiting a foreign country?
Before traveling, confirm all arrangements directly with the:
1. Airlines, cruise lines, etc.
2. Hotel, timeshare resort, etc. (By requesting descriptive brochures
directly from the lodging you may avoid any unpleasant surprises once
you arrive.)
3. Business sponsors such as restaurants or resort attractions offering
discount or other coupons. Determine any restrictions on the use of
these coupons.
Ask the vacation certificate promoter what happens if the hotel or other
accommodations are completely booked.
If a refundable deposit is required, when and how do you get it back?
Find out what the company will do if it can't match your request with a
specific vacation time. Can you get your money back?
If "free" travel is offered, can you make your own travel arrangements,
or do you have to use a specific travel agent? If you use the company's
travel agent and you must pay for a second ticket, determine if the cost
of the second purchased ticket is more than if you had made your own
travel plans for two through another source. Is the rate competitive
with rates available through other travel agents, airlines, etc.?
If you attend a land sales presentation, obtain a copy of the Property
Report often required by federal law, and read it before signing any
contract or written agreement.
Travel Packages
A travel package is a prearranged vacation. Usually, these packages are
assembled by an independent tour operator and are sold through travel
agents. Purchasing a travel package has the advantage of convenience
and, in many cases, value. Paying attention to the following can help
you choose wisely:
Small Print or Asterisks: Make sure that asterisks or small print are
not used as a means of altering the meaning of any advertising
statement. Asterisks are commonly used to indicate restrictions --
required length of stay, particular days and/or times of departure or
additional charges.
Availability: Make sure that the travel services are currently available
at advertised prices. If the travel service at the advertised price is
not immediately effective, availability should be stated in the
advertisement.
Extra Charges: Any extra charges such as port taxes, service charges or
single supplement charges should be clearly and conspicuously disclosed.
Features: If the brochure/advertisement states, for example, that you
can play golf or that you can visit an amusement park nearby, it does
not necessarily mean that these attractions will be included in the
travel program for the advertised price. Make sure to look for the
following:
What features are included in package price? Ask about:
airfare
hotel
transfers
sightseeing
gratuities
baggage handling
meals
car rental mileage
The total number of nights in each city and hotel, as well as the amount
of free time you will have on the tour.
The daily itinerary/schedule of events.
The name of each hotel and the type (grade) of accommodations offered by
each.
Is the tour escorted and to what degree?
Conditions: You should pay special attention to the contents of
the "conditions" clause, usually found in fine print on the last page of
the brochure:
How firm is the price? (i.e. does the tour operator have the right to
increase the fare?)
What are the cancellation penalties? What is considered a valid reason
for either you or the tour operator to cancel the trip?
What are the conditions under which you can receive a full refund?
Abbreviations: Common abbreviations used in travel ads and brochures
include:
AP (American plan) -- hotel rate includes bed, breakfast, lunch and
dinner.
CP (continental plan) -- hotel rate includes bed and continental
breakfast.
FIT (frequent independent travel) -- a prepaid, custom-designed travel
package with many individualized arrangements.
GIT (group inclusive tour) -- a pre-paid tour of specific group size,
components and value.
single supp. (single supplement) -- extra charge for a single
accommodations tour.
pp. dbl. occ. (per person double occupancy) -- price per person for a
room to be shared.
OW (one way) -- one way airfare.
RT (round trip) -- round trip airfare.
dep. (departure date) -- date of departure.
Quick Check List
Before finalizing any vacation or travel plans, you should do the
following:
Deal with a business you know or have checked out with the BBB or other
reliable groups like those listed on the back of this brochure;
Verify everything before you pay. Be cautious about prepaying for
multiple years. Timeshares, campgrounds or travel clubs may offer to
sell membership vacation accommodations for five years or more. Take
into account your physical and financial health, a company’s solvency,
potential rising membership and maintenance fees, and the often poor
appreciation of such investments;
Watch out for instant travel offers. If a company offers special
identification that they say will guarantee discounted travel rates, be
wary. No company has control over discounts. Only suppliers of travel
such as cruiselines, hotel companies, car rental companies, or airlines
can decide to extend such professional courtesies.
Vacation Scam "Red Flags"
Be alert to the following "redflags" that may signal fraudulent vacation
promotions:
Salespersons who use high pressured tactics such as:
demanding your credit card number before explaining all the conditions
of an offer;
requesting that you identify yourself by your credit card number (a sign
of possible misuse of your card);
or refusing to provide all the information about the total cost of a
vacation or travel offer.
Post card or fax promotional mailings that require you to pay a fee or
to purchase membership in a travel club, in order to claim a vacation or
travel prize.
Low rates on air travel that require you to purchase an additional
ticket for a companion.
Offers by companies attempting to subvert U.S. postal authorities by
requiring a messenger or courier to deliver the travel package to you in
exchange for your payment.
How to Protect Yourself
To avoid falling prey to a vacation or travel scam, heed the following
advice:
Be wary of “great deals” and low- priced offers.
Be suspicious of companies that require you to wait at least 60 days
before taking your trip.
Ask detailed questions.
Get all information in writing before you agree to buy.
Don’t give your credit card number or bank information over the phone
unless you have confidence in the company you are dealing with.
Don’t send money by messenger or overnight mail.
Check out a company with the Better Business Bureau before you buy.
Don’t be pressured into buying.
If in doubt, say “NO.”
Question:
"Why can't I just
prove myself and instead of buying a package myself just promote the
business and pass up 3 sales to you?"
Answer 1: That's
a great question and it makes sense to me. However, that is not how
the program is designed to work. Time and experience have proven
time and time again that for someone to be super successful in any
business, they must first be a product of the product. By
owning the product yourself, you will be able to create your own
stories of the savings that you've had and the fun trips you've
taken. Also, you won't have to hide behind a lie should you
imply that you own the package when, in fact, you don't. Also,
one of the most important qualifications in belonging to the Coastal
Synergy Group is having your own membership.
Answer 2: If you
want to gain access to the C.I.M.S, and purchase and work leads, as
well as have my support and the support of the entire Coastal
Synergy Group Leadership Team, then your only option is to own the
product yourself.
Question:
"My 1st 2 sales will
come from my family or close friends - I want to keep them under me
so we can work together and benefit from the roll-ups. Can I pass up
2 others later on for my training sales?"
Answer: That's a great
question and I completely understand. What we need to do is
get busy and simply get your first two sales out of the way.
As soon as that happens, which should be within your first 30 days,
you can then get the membership kits for your family. By the way, in
the meantime, if they are wanting to travel right away, you can GIVE
them one of your vacations now and they can pay you back when they
receive theirs.
Question:
What does a director do?
Answer:
A Director with Coastal can purchase
the travel packages at wholesale and then sell them at retail and
keep the profits of $1000 and $3000. Also a Director helps train
others to become successful Directors and earns a training fee by
retaining the "first 2 training" sales from EACH of their trainees.
Question: When
you train a PREMIER can both of those sales be Level 1 or should we
have at least a Level 2 sale? Can they come in at Level 2 without
doing Level 1?
Answer: That is
up to each Director. Personally, I offer my L2 (Premier) trainees
their Directors Release once they have completed 2 sales (no matter
which level).
There are 2 options of enrollment into Coastal Vacations:
1) Level 1 for $1295
2) Premiere (L1 & L2 combined) for $3995.
Level 2 package is considered the upgrade to Level 1, it is not sold
separately.
Question: Can I start
with the $1295 package and then move to the next level?
Answer:
Yes, you certainly can, however there are advantages of starting at
the TOP level.. You will end up saving over $6800 by doing so.. I
will explain in further detail when we speak on the phone.
Question: Is it more
beneficial to start with the Premier package?
Answer:
The best way to get started in Coastal when you are
seriously looking at making $$ is to begin at the Premiere Level for
$3995. (I will explain in detail when we talk next)
Question:
Are there long
distance charges involved? Will customers be calling me on an 800#
from anywhere?
Answer: Yes, your
customers will call you on your 800Voicemail service that will cost
you approx $10/month. There are long distance charges involved when
calling your customers but you can avoid those by getting a 'Flat
Rate' unlimited long distance plan (i.e. pay about $49.95 per
month for UNLIMITED LONG DISTANCE). We will show you a few good
companies that offer these.
Question:
Is this a
tax-deductible home based business and is my computer room now my
bus. office?
Answer:
Yes this business is 100% tax
deductible and will offer you an array of deductions as a home
business owner... i.e. part of your home mortgage, rent, lease,
computer, phone, internet, utilities, cell phone, pager, your
marketing system, advertising etc etc etc...all of these are just
examples of much of what you can "write off"... an accountant will
be able to consult with you regarding all your write off's.
Question:
Is calling
the 212 area code for testimonials cheaper after 5pm, since it is
not toll-free?
Answer:
That all
depends on your long distance provider. We will show you how to
easily get connected with a long distance provider that will offer
you a 'Flat Rate' UNLIMITED LONG DISTANCE for only $49.95/month.
Most of our Directors use these plans and are extremely pleased with
the amounts of $$ that they save on bills.
Question: How many
people are signed up with Coastal and are there enough customers for
them?
Answer:
We have Thousands of members worldwide... As for customers... ask
yourself this question: "Who DOESN'T like to Travel?" Travel is a $5
TRILLION industry. We will never run short of customers, not in our
lifetime anyway :o)... Since we have partnered with CEM (a
professional advertising company of 15years) the strain and worry
about "where to get customers from" has been eliminated.. They
provide us with an over-flow of leads on a daily basis.. One can
order as many leads as they can handle...
Question:
I do not
have a computer. Can I work this business offline?
Answer 1:
Yes you can work this business offline. Before the internet this
is how it was done. Use FAX on demand to provide written
information. There are many 800 numbers for overviews,
compensation plan & testimonials. Go to LIVE calls and training
calls. Qualify them first...serious prospects send Detailed
Profile or fax it.
Question:
When is the Coastal
training seminar and where? The sheet says to pull Doc. 10 on the
coastal Fax-on Demand Service; how do I do that?
Answer1:
You can pull down (print) all of the Documents on the FOD System,
right from your explorecoastal website. Click on the "Support" link
and scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see the FOD
documents. Select Doc #10 for the Next Upcoming Coastal Training
Event.
Answer2:
You can also call the Coastal Vacations FOD (Fax on demand) System
and request doc. # 10. Call 732-463-6423 followed by the number 10
(ignore operator voice). In order to retrieve the document, the fax
machine needs to be equipped with a 'receiver'.
Question:
On the Directors
Release—does the person that I signed up actually have to make a
sale to me first before she gets her release? Does it have to be two
or can one suffice?
Answer:
You have
to complete your 2 training sales in order to earn your Coastal
Directorship and qualify to purchase the Travel Packages at
wholesale prices. Through that process you will also gain the
knowledge and skills needed to train others.
Question:
What
currency can we use and can we change the price?
Answer:
Since you are an independent business owner it is up to you, but try
to keep it at the suggested US $1,295 price. This EXACT same package is also
sold by other resort companies for $2500-$4000. You can make an exception and offer
a time limited special ... use your discretion and common sense. We
do not want to undervalue our product!
A Canadian buying from a Canadian can offer the package at no
exchange rate ... your choice, but remember you have to forward $295
in US funds to the shipping center.

Question:
How do I activate the
Coastal Vacations Member cards, Its says to mail application to
activate card...Can I use them now, and where? Locally?
Answer:
In your travel package you should
find a Membership Activation Form. You will need to fill out this
form with your information and then send it in (to the shipping &
fulfillment center -- address is on Membership Form) along with a
$10 money order (for shipping & handling. You will receive your
whole set of 20 membership cards with their accompanying Directories
within 5-10 business days.
Question:
Between Level 1 (short
vacation) and the Level 2 we ordered (a week) will they charge us
more to lengthen the stay?
Answer:
YES. The
complimentary vacations are for 3days/2nights or 8days/7nights. If
you want to extend those they will charge you a nominal fee. These
companies are motivated (and paid) to fill the rooms. They will
offer you good deals to ensure that you stay longer.
Question:
Is this the best
vacation deal for a customer or are there hundreds of competitors?
Answer:
The travel industry is very
competitive and there are a number of other companies that offer
discount travel & vacation memberships, like we do... What sets us
apart is that we are an Association of Professionals and not a
company. We do not have the overhead that a standard company has and
therefore can afford to market this package for $1295. This EXACT
same package is also sold by other resort companies for $2500-$4000.
This package has been on the market for over 20years. We, Coastal
have been marketing it for 10 years now.
Question:
Am I going to get that
vacation deal by calling the conf. call #, and is the vac. pkg only
for 2 adults ( I have a 10yr. old daughter).
Answer: One way to claim a
FREE Vacation is by calling the conference call. We, as members also
have access to THOUSANDS of vacations that we can use or give-away
ourselves.. These vacations only cost us $6.95 to purchase.. You can
easily ADD MORE PARTIES to your reservation for a very small nominal
fee.
Question:
I saw on the European
vacation pkg. that France and Italy are not incl. Do you have pkgs.
for them also?
Answer:
Yes, we
have international stays in France and Italy. They are week long
complimentary stays where we are required to pay the taxes only
(approx $20./night).
These vacations cost us $20 to order...
Question:
Is travel by air or rail
incl. in vacation pkgs? Sometimes half the fun is getting there as
they say... I am a railroad enthusiast, are there Amtrak pkgs also?
Answer:
With
our "Travel Card" we get an additional 10-20% savings on AIRFARES...
and soon we will be adding a "Rail Discount Card"... I believe they
said that they are looking to have that card in place by the end of
this year...
Question:
How many vacation pkgs.
does coastal have?
Answer:
We
have 2 vacation packages..
Our Level 1 package for $1295. Our level 2 (international) package
for $3500.
Our most popular buy is the "The Premier Combo" (Level 1&
Level 2) for $3995 (savings of $800)
Question:
If I help someone by getting their
flight for them (family or friend & at no profit to me) do they need
to have my card to show at the airport or car rental or such?
Answer:
That depends
entirely... For flights, condo stays and any of the bonus
vacations, chances are, they will not have to present a card.
However if you are booking Hotel Rooms, for someone else other than
yourself they will need a card at the time of checkout to receive
the discount.
Question:
How do I go about
getting a retail website?
Answer:
You can order
a retail website through
the Coastal Synergy group CIMS.
Question:
I have tried to
call re car rental but I don't have the right "access code"
(Id # 553017 is wrong). What do I need to do?
Answer:
The discounts with Alamo Car
Rentals can be claimed by calling Alamo at: 1.800.354.2322 and
telling them you have a member discount card thru Coastal
Vacations. Be sure to request I.D #553017 and Rate Code: B
Y.
Question:
How do you
compare prices without ordering a condo vacation first?
Answer:
As a
member of Coastal, our Condo stays are typically $19/night per
person. On average, we pay about $300 per week (for 2 people)
for a condo stay. The best way to compare is to get the
regular price of the condo first and then compare that to the
$300 per week that we as Coastal members pay. We are saving
about $1000 per week on condo stays around the US, Canada,
Mexico , the Caribbean & worldwide.
Question:
I am trying
to call re airline prices and I am not able to call from
Canada. What number do you use?
Answer:

the 3 toll-free numbers on the back of your Travel Card will

questions
Question:
I've just gotten
started. So far, I've order some Coastal Specific Leads and some
autoresponder leads. The Specific leads are spaced out over the
month and I've only gotten 3 so far and haven't been able to contact
them yet. As I'm waiting for my leads to come in, and while I'm
waiting on my autoresponder leads to respond - WHAT ELSE CAN I BE
DOING?
Answer:
First of all. . . be patient. Another
idea you can try is to write down the names of every person you know
- anyone you can think of that will know who YOU are. Go through the
yellow pages and look through the categories to help jog your
memory. Then call them up and tell them you need a HUGE favor. Adds
some humor and say something like, "Don't worry I don't need any
money and I'm not moving next weekend" Tell them you would like
their feedback on something. Tell them even though you know its
probably not for them, you would really appreciate it if they would
listen to a 5 minute recording 800-628-8015 and let you know if they
know ANYONE ELSE that may possibly be interested in something like
this. Then give them the toll free overview number. Of course, they
may themselves be interested or they may give you some referrals.
You may also want to consider placing a classified ad and get
responses to your voice mail box.
You can also print up some inexpensive "sizzle cards" and put them
all around town. The sizzle card can have something on it like:
TIME & MONEY
More Time & The Money to Enjoy It
(website) or (toll free voice mail recording)
Finally, plug into as much TRAINING
as possible. Your first 90 days are crucial to your business and the
more you will learn--the more you will earn. Listen to all Live and
Recorded Team & Company calls. Jump on the Q&A Forums and "hang out"
where the successful Coastal Directors do!... Learn the lingo...
walk the walk... talk the talk... You will attract success by the
person you become..
Question:
Can you give some
advice on placing classified ads?
Answer: If you can get your ad in the "Sales" section of the
classifieds instead of the "Business Opportunity" section you will
get much better results. A sample ad would read:
SALES!
MONEY TIME FREEDOM
If you didn't earn $3,000 CASH last
week we need to talk.
###-###-#### (voice mail)
When they call give a brief message and ask them to leave their name
& number. At the end you can say something like "If you are in a
hurry and want to find out more details RIGHT NOW - visit my website
at *************.
Question:
Is the website or any
advertising also in various other languages?
Answer: We have access to
marketing materials offered in Spanish as well as English.
Question:
Is there any advertisement
for a person without a computer?
Answer: YES.
We offer offline and online campaigns. Your director will be able to
consult with you.
Question:
What
is a Post Card Deck?
Answer: CEM (Cutting Edge Media), a Coastal
approved advertisement company, puts 10 different post cards
together representing 10 different business opportunities. They mail
them to a targeted list of about 250,000 people who have requested
Home Biz info.

Follow up questions
Question:
If you do a follow up
call and no one answers, you leave a message... How many calls do
you make and how many messages do you leave before you give up and
don't bother them any more?
Answer: I will call a total of
4 times, then use "The Phrase That Pays."
1. Leave a message at the time specified using the script provided.
2. I will repeat step 1, same time of day or evening.
3. I will purposely call when I'm sure they WILL NOT be there, have
a colleague on 3-way, and leave this message:
"Hi Suzy, this is Ron with Coastal Vacations again. Sorry I missed
you. I wanted you to hear from one of our team members who is having
success using our system. Jennifer are you there?"
"Hi Suzy, this is Jennifer. I just wanted to vouch for Ron and say
that I've used this same system Ron has been telling you about for
about 8 months now. I average 2 or 3 sales every single month and
this extra money allows me to stay home with my children instead of
putting them in daycare. Our clients love our product and the system
we use to market it with absolutely works. If I can learn how to do
it, I know you can. If you have any questions, give me a call at
800-xyz-abcd. Thanks."
"Okay, Suzy. I'll try to reach you again tomorrow. Have a great
day."
4. I will call back hoping to reach Suzy. If not, I will leave this
final message:
"Hi Suzy, it's Ron with Coastal Vacations again. Listen, I don't
want to bother you anymore. I just wanted to let you know that this
will be the LAST TIME I call. If you want to learn how we earn
$1,000 - $3'200 on each sale and do this 2 or 3 times a month or 2
or 3 times a week depending on how much time you devote to your
business, then YOU will have to call ME. I'm sorry, but I'm just
overwhelmed with responses to our ad and too busy to keep leaving
messages. Unless I hear from you by this Friday (or "this Sunday" if
it's Friday when you call - give 2 days at least), I'm going to go
ahead and scratch you off my list. I wish you the very best in
whatever you are looking for."
I will then scratch Suzy off my call list but still leave her in the
AutoResponder forever.
Question:
How long should I wait
between my voice mail messages that I leave for my Coastal Specific
prospects?
Answer:
Everyone handles this a bit
different but I personally give them 3 tries within one week and if
they don't answer my third call in person, I let them know that I
won't call back because I only have a couple more training spots
open for this week...(sense of urgency) and if they are seriously
interested to give me a call back... I will try to call them
again, one week or 2 weeks later (because it's a different week and
I can always say that I just thought of them because I have one more
trainings spot open, you see...) Once you have enough interested
people in your 'pipeline', you won't have too much time on your
hands to go after the people that don't answer the phone after your
3 attempts to reach them. Also, make sure you try to reach your
prospects at different times of the day.
Question:
How many messages TOTAL
should I leave at all? I don't want to appear "desperate" by calling
too frequently and/or too many times.
Answer: I never leave
more than 3 messages on their voice mail... However, I still try
calling them at different times of the day/week. I remember from a
seminar, one of my mentors said that he works the '3 strikes and
you're out' method.... so on his 3rd call he lets them clearly know
that we are looking for "motivated individuals that are looking to
generate a 6-figure income' NOW'... with emphasize on the word
NOW... because a lot of people are looking to do that but we need
those that are ready NOW.
Question: Do people really
call you back when you request them too?
Answer: During conversation give a
sense of urgency and that you are very busy. You are a "mover &
shaker". Show your excitement and that you want to move on to the
next prospect. (To do this successfully, you need to be persistent
and focused!)
Prospects not calling back is quite normal for several reasons:
1. not interested, not serious
2. just didn't have time
3. something came up...like computer
broke down!!!!
Call them back and take control of conversation and their
seriousness to start a business, i.e. if they haven't had time to
look or listen to your information, 3-way them into the call
personally. Understand that your fortune is in the follow up...
don't take anything personally, simply work through your numbers
and the numbers will work in your favor.
(It's called the 'Law of
Numbers')
Question:
How can I re-approach old
prospects to see if they are still interested?
Answer 1:
Call (leave message) or email all
old prospects who haven't responded and leave a message or email
saying that you are cleaning out your database and you really
need to know if they are truly interested please let me know
a.s.a.p. so that I can remove you and free up space in my
database for interested prospects.
Answer 2:
Leave a message on their machine
say you have some AMAZING NEWS and want to share it with them
and you need them to call you back ASAP. Tell them it's URGENT
(SOUND EXCITED)
Question:
What is a typical time length with a prospect from first
contact to sale?
Answer:
The recruiting process is generally 7 to 10 days once you have
started introducing your prospect to your business exposures.
Some may take a month or two, up to 6 month, your autoresponder
letters will help you stay in contact with your prospects if
they couldn't make their decision within 7-10 days. Remember:
"We are Looking for people that are looking for us NOW"!
It takes three to five good conversations and exposures to
enroll someone into your business.
Here are a few additional tips:
Follow up with their interest and hot buttons. Let them get to
know you, build relationship. "Feel where their pain is"...
support their feelings. 80% come in this way, 20% directly from
website with no contact. 80 to 90 % have missed appointments
even though they eventually join.
Don't try to convince. Stay as neutral as possible... yet be
enthusiastic
Those you think will join... won't, those you think won't...will
Reason to join are as strong as the reason they don't. Our
Reasons is what drives us!
Decision is based on their commitment, based on their
self-esteem, based on their desire to change. Really depends how
badly they want it.
SWSWSW....Some Will...Some Won't...So What!
Question:
You receive an
email with "What's the cost?"
Answer:
Respond with our 'Standard Replay' (located in our Team Training
Center, under Email Responses)
This is a "Standard Reply" that
some very successful Directors are using . They send this out
EACH TIME they receive a question via email. The idea is to
get the prospect on the telephone for a phone interview.
----------------------------------------
Subject: Hi
(name), Thanks for your email
Hi (name) ,
I enjoyed and appreciated your email.
I have a few questions for you, as I am sure, you do for me.
Please call me on my Toll-Free voicemail, or email me your
phone number so that I can call you.
Looking forward to speaking with you.
Best Regards,
----------------------------------------
If they send you their number,
call them using your qualifying script. Make sure they review or
listen to some documentation BEFORE you tell them the price.
They need to appreciate the value of the product.
Give them a FACT: you get paid directly by your customer. You do
not have to wait until the company sends you the money at the
end of the month. This fact is also very good for closing sales.

Personal Development
Question:
I would like to submit an article for our personal development
page. My question is: Is it supposed to be like MY personal story
or is it supposed to be more "generic" - like what Ron has
written?. . .
Answer:
The
article can entail what you feel, belief, experience, apply and
absorb
on your journey to success. (Success means different things to all
of us...)
Your article can focus on any or all of the following areas in
your live:
Family (Relationship), Health, Finances, Career, Spirituality
Ask yourself: What makes you successful. What are your virtues,
reasons, beliefs?
How do you apply them in your every day life?
Ron for instance, wrote an article based on different teachings of
his mentors and how he transfers them to his Coastal business.
That is one way of writing an article... the great thing about
contributing to our Personal Development Center is that you have
no restrictions and you can create it anyway that feels right to
you. It will represent you and you will inspire many individuals
with it! (You may even decide to hold a special training about it
on one of our Tuesday Team Huddle calls, please let us know if you
do..)
Question:
Prospects have asked me: "How long have you been doing this and
how much money are you making?"
Answer:
The best
advice we can give you is not to let that pre-occupy your mind!
You will attract exactly what you think.... Michael's success
(or his member's success) does not depend on your results.
Everyone is different. Every person comes into their business
with different thoughts, different set of circumstances, etc...
You will find that by taking yourself out of the equation, your
business will be that much more easier to manage on a daily
basis and ultimately more profitable.
What works is the SYSTEM. And that is what is duplicatable,
people are not!
We are all given the same SYSTEM the same tools, same product...
The only variable in the equation is US...

there are some great income testimonials posted.
